IT Support Engineer - Specialty Insurance

A leading specialty insurer experiencing phenomenal growth across the London Market is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their high-performing service desk. This is a fast-moving environment where technology sits at the centre of business delivery, & where a driven, technically capable engineer can make a real impact.
The Role
You'll work as part of a small, collaborative IT team providing first-class support to users across the London office & wider global business. The pace is quick, the standards high, & the exposure broad, covering both day-to-day service desk activity & project-based improvement work.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on 1st & 2nd line support to business users across all levels of seniority
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, & Exchange Online environments
- Manage incidents, requests, & access control through the ITSM platform
- Assist with joiners/movers/leavers processes, device builds, & mobile device management (MDM/MAM)
- Troubleshoot VPN, Teams, & audio-visual meeting setups
- Maintain clear documentation & consistent communication with end users
Skills & Experience
- 1-3 years' experience in a service desk or IT support role
- Proven ability to deliver support in financial services or corporate environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, O365, Active Directory, & Exchange Online
- Exposure to Intune, DNS, DHCP, & Group Policy desirable
- Excellent communication skills & the ability to stay composed under pressure
- Comfortable working full-time on-site in a fast-paced, professional setting
