Claims Insights Lead
We're supporting a leading global specialty insurer in hiring a Claims Insights Lead / Claims BI Product Owner to build out a new business-facing service & drive the delivery of Claims reporting & analytics. Sitting within a high-impact portfolio analytics team, you'll own end-to-end BI delivery, manage a small team, & partner closely with Claims leadership to improve operational decision-making through high-quality data products.
Responsibilities
- Act as Claims BI Product Owner, owning backlog, prioritisation, & delivery roadmap
- Lead end-to-end delivery of analytical solutions (Power BI dashboards, datasets, reports)
- Engage stakeholders to gather requirements & translate into actionable insights
- Manage & mentor a small team, setting delivery & quality standards
- Drive data quality, governance, & collaboration with data engineering teams
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering BI/MI solutions within Insurance (Claims experience beneficial)
- Proven stakeholder management, including senior leadership engagement
- Experience leading or mentoring analysts or ambition to do so
- Knowledge of Power BI & the use of SQL & DAX (deep scripting ability not required)
- Experience working in Agile environments & managing delivery backlogs
