A leading Specialty Insurer is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join its high?performing internal transformation team. The organisation is embarking on a major programme to modernise & streamline its underwriting & claims operations. You will play a pivotal role in mapping processes, driving change & shaping how technology supports the business.

The Role

You will join a dynamic transformation function delivering both business-as-usual support & project-based initiatives. Working closely with global business users & technical teams, you will:

• Map current processes & support the design of future-state processes for claims & underwriting.
• Create data flow diagrams to analyse how information moves through systems & processes, highlighting inefficiencies & areas for improvement.
• Gather & document requirements, translating them into technical specifications for development teams & prioritising in line with business needs.
• Influence stakeholders to adopt process improvements & drive the product agenda within an agile delivery environment.
• Support user acceptance testing by deriving test cases that validate end-to-end business processes.
• Develop training materials & deliver training across multiple time zones to ensure successful adoption of new systems & processes.

Skills & Experience Required

• 5+ years' experience as a high-performing Business Analyst, ideally within insurance.
• Experience working in agile or product-led delivery teams
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering process mapping & stakeholder management
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence & SharePoint
• Confident communicating with both technical & non-technical stakeholders at senior level
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
• Exposure to insurance underwriting &/or claims processes is desirable
