Senior Project Manager | Specialty Insurance

London | Hybrid 3 days in the office

Rate: £650 to £700 per day | Outside IR35

A global specialty insurance business is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a new technology project at the beginning of its discovery phase.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a new piece of work from the outset, working with senior stakeholders across the UK & US to understand the current environment, identify gaps & help shape the scope & direction of the wider project.

The successful Project Manager will bring strong experience delivering technology & transformation projects within insurance & will be comfortable operating in an environment where the requirement is still being defined.

Key experience required:

• Strong Project Management experience within insurance essential
• Experience delivering technology, systems or transformation projects
• Strong discovery & gap analysis experience
• Experience working with senior business & technology stakeholders
• Ability to bring structure & direction to projects at an early stage

Desirable experience:

• Specialty Insurance or London Market experience
• Systems integration projects
• Salesforce related programmes
• Exposure to AI technology or Harvey AI

The initial engagement will focus on discovery & design, with the wider project expected to continue into delivery.

This would suit an experienced insurance Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of an evolving requirement & helping shape the project before full delivery begins.
