Pioneer Search is working with a leading global specialty insurance business that is investing heavily across its international change function.

This is a senior Project Manager role focused on delivering complex business & technology change across international operations. Projects may include operating model change, product launches, new distribution channels, acquisitions, finance transformation, operational improvement & technology enabled change.

The key priority is delivery quality.

The client is looking for a Project Manager who can bring structure, pace & control to complex change. Someone who is comfortable working with senior stakeholders, managing risk, tracking financials, challenging delivery blockers & ensuring projects move from business case through to successful implementation & benefits realisation.

Insurance experience would be useful, but it is not the main requirement. The focus is on proven project delivery capability in a complex environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading strategic business & technology change projects
  • Managing scope, budget, timelines, risks, issues & dependencies
  • Producing clear project plans, governance updates & executive reporting
  • Working closely with senior business & technology stakeholders
  • Managing project financials, resources & delivery controls
  • Coordinating vendors, third parties & internal project teams
  • Supporting transition into business as usual & tracking benefits realisation

The successful candidate will bring:

  • Strong project management experience across business or technology change
  • A track record of delivering complex projects to agreed outcomes
  • Excellent stakeholder management & senior communication skills
  • Strong governance, planning & financial management capability
  • Experience working across business & technology teams
  • Consulting, insurance, financial services or complex corporate change experience
  • PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent certification would be beneficial

This would suit a Project Manager who is outcome focused, delivery led & confident operating in a structured change environment where quality, control & stakeholder confidence matter.
