Scrum Master | Specialist Insurance Transformation

London | Hybrid Working | Permanent - £70,000 - £80,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Scrum Master to join a specialist insurer undergoing significant business & technology transformation.

With multiple strategic initiatives underway, including the integration of two business brands, major claims modernisation programmes & wider technology change, you'll play a key role in driving Agile delivery across a growing portfolio of projects.

The organisation is committed to embedding Agile ways of working as a core part of its future operating model. As a result, we're looking for someone who not only facilitates delivery, but has a proven track record of coaching teams, influencing stakeholders & helping organisations mature their Agile capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies across multiple project teams
  • Coach teams & stakeholders on Agile principles & best practice
  • Drive Agile maturity & help embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • Remove delivery impediments & improve team effectiveness
  • Support Product Owners with backlog management & sprint planning
  • Promote collaboration across business & technology teams
  • Use delivery metrics to drive performance & transparency

Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master within technology or business transformation programmes
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum & Agile coaching
  • Experience improving Agile maturity within teams or organisations
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence & Miro

Desirable:

  • Specialist Insurance Experience is highly advantageous
  • Claims, technology or business transformation experience
  • PSM, CSM or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of Kanban, Lean & scaled Agile frameworks
