QA Engineer (Web App & D365 Integration) - Shape the Future of Government Services -

A leading Technology Consultancy is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a major Government modernisation project. This is a high-delivery phase where your expertise will directly impact the quality & reliability of services used by millions. Please note this role requires active SC Clearance - only candidates WITH CLEARANCE will be considered.

The Role

You will take ownership of end-to-end quality assurance, ensuring seamless integration between a modern web application & its Dynamics 365 (D365) backend. This is a hands-on role requiring technical depth, precision, & strong collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design & execute integration tests for web app & D365 workflows.
Develop & maintain manual & automated regression test suites.
Perform API & integration testing to ensure seamless data exchange.
Identify, document, & track defects, working closely with developers for resolution.
Maintain clear & comprehensive test documentation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure timely, high-quality releases.

Core Requirements

Proven experience testing web applications & enterprise backends, ideally with D365.
Strong skills in manual & automation testing.
Expertise in integration/API testing.
Familiarity with Next.js/Node/React & Azure SQL environments.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication & analytical skills.

Desirable Skills & Tools

Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright.
API Testing Tools: Postman, REST Assured.
CI/CD & DevOps: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
Performance Testing: JMeter or similar.
Security & Accessibility Testing experience.
ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
