Project Manager - Specialist Insurance

Rate: £600 - £700 p/d Outside IR35

Location: London - 3 days per week in office

Contract Length: 6 months

A leading Specialty Insurer is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their Transformation function on an initial 6-month contract.

Reporting directly to the Head of Transformation, you will be responsible for leading multiple concurrent change initiatives across the business, ensuring projects are delivered effectively whilst maintaining strong stakeholder engagement across both business & technology teams.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly visible transformation programme where you will be involved in a broad range of strategic initiatives, including operational improvement projects, technology change & emerging AI-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously across the transformation portfolio.
• Work closely with the Head of Transformation to drive delivery of strategic business & technology initiatives.
• Develop & maintain project plans, budgets, RAID logs & governance reporting.
• Coordinate business & technical stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Lead project governance, steering committees & executive reporting.
• Identify risks, dependencies & issues across multiple workstreams.
• Support organisational change activities & adoption of new processes & technologies.
• Contribute to the delivery of AI-focused initiatives, helping to embed emerging technologies within business operations.

Required Experience

• Proven experience delivering projects within the Specialty Insurance or London Market insurance sector.
• Strong track record managing multiple projects concurrently within complex transformation environments.
• Experience delivering both business & technology change initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives & business leaders.
• Strong understanding of project governance, reporting & delivery methodologies.
• Experience working within insurer, MGA, broker or Lloyd's market environments.
• Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation or data-driven transformation projects would be highly advantageous.
