A leading Specialist Insurer is seeking an experienced Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager to lead a business-critical Claims Transformation & Integration programme as part of a wider merger initiative. This is not purely a systems integration role. It is a holistic claims reengineering programme, spanning process, governance, culture, & technology, aimed at creating a unified, scalable & efficient claims operating model across two organisations.

You will take ownership of the end-to-end integration of claims capabilities, ensuring continuity of operations while driving meaningful transformation in how claims are handled, governed, & supported by technology. The successful individual will bring deep experience delivering claims transformation programmes within insurance, with the ability to navigate legacy environments, align differing operating models, & lead change across complex stakeholder landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of a claims transformation & systems integration programme within a merger environment
  • Define & implement a target operating model (TOM), aligning processes, controls, governance, & ways of working
  • Drive claims process reengineering, improving efficiency, standardisation, & customer outcomes
  • Deliver the integration roadmap, aligning business, operations, data, & technology, including legacy platform integration
  • Engage senior stakeholders (including CXO level) & oversee governance, risk management, & cross-functional delivery

Key Requirements

  • Proven Programme Manager with experience delivering end-to-end claims transformation programmes in Insurance
  • Strong track record in claims systems integration, migration, or platform consolidation, ideally within merger contexts
  • Deep understanding of claims processes, controls, & TOM design, including process reengineering
  • Experience managing complex legacy environments & delivering across business & technology domains
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience operating across senior leadership & complex organisations
