IT Change Manager
London (Hybrid) - 2 days in the office per week
£65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits
A IT Change Manager is required for a specialist global insurer undergoing major IT & operational transformation. You will run & evolve a high-volume, global change process that underpins all technology delivery.
The opportunity
You'll manage around 150 changes per week across infrastructure, cloud, & applications, leading global CAB meetings & working closely with your US counterpart to keep services stable while driving modernisation.
This is not just a static governance post, you'll refine how Change engages with engineers, developers, & business users, making the process more transparent, automated, & user-friendly.
What you'll do
- Own the Change Management process end-to-end: risk assessment, approvals, CAB, & post-implementation review
- Lead & facilitate global CAB meetings, bringing structure & engagement to diverse stakeholders
- Partner with delivery & service teams to improve how users experience Change
- Maintain compliance with audit & regulatory standards while introducing practical agility
- Work with the CMDB & ServiceNow to enhance automation & reporting
- Collaborate globally to align processes & share best practice
What we're looking for
- Experience in IT Change Management / ITSM, ideally within financial or regulated enterprise environments
- Proven experience chairing CABs & handling large change volumes
- Hands-on knowledge of ServiceNow Change Management & CMDB integration
- Strong understanding of risk & audit within complex IT estates
- Engaging communicator with energy, passion, & a balanced governance approach
- Comfortable improving processes, not just following them
