About the Role:

A Guidewire Developer with experience with Guidewire for claims, & ClaimCenter configurations is required for a leading insurance organisation in London. The business are currently in the process of migrating to Guidewire & would be looking for a developer to help them through the migration process & to monitor & configure the platform. This is a brand-new team with lots of scope for development. You should have strong development skills in Java or C#.Net as well as stakeholder skills to help the organisation navigate the migration & onboard Guidewire.

Key Responsibilities:

• ClaimCenter enhancements with code to introduce new features.

• System Integration: Creating seamless connections between ClaimCenter & other systems, including PAS, document management systems, & external data providers.
• Platform Monitoring: Determine requirements for specific alerts, set up alerts for various events & thresholds, utilize Datadog logs & dashboards for error analysis, & track DXC downtime while communicating updates to users.
• Platform Updates: Conduct a 3-way merge of updated code, validate new versions, & implement new features from updates.
• Stakeholder management, ability to work closely with the business, gathering requirements & work closely with the Scrum & broader software teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in Guidewire, ideally in ClaimCenter
• Experience of coding in programming languages, you can be working in any programming language from C# to Java or Python.
• SQL & other relational database experience as well as supporting database applications.
• CI/CD & DevOps for test automation & cloud deployment
