Delivery Manager needed for a leading specialty insurance client in London.

My client is continuing their technology transformation journey & require a highly experienced & skilled Delivery Manager.

They seek a delivery driven technology leader with a strong background in infrastructure & end user technology. You will specialise in turning complex operational requirements into real, ready to run services.

This is an opportunity to significantly influence a business critical technology transformation, bringing structure, momentum, & operational efficiency to a high visibility portfolio. You'll be embedded in a modernisation programme that is reshaping how end-user services are delivered globally.

*The successful candidate will come from a high paced, dynamic financial services environment & will have a history of delivering to similar customers.

**This is a hybrid role & require 3x per week in the London office.

Role:
You'll take ownership of a broad portfolio of initiatives within End-User Technology Services, ensuring solutions are delivered end-to-end from planning & execution through to a fully operational, supportable service. This is a hands-on delivery role requiring pace, structure, & strong control across multiple workstreams.

Delivery Leadership

  • Drive & own delivery across a multi-stream Digital Workplace portfolio.
  • Convert strategic outcomes into structured delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, & measurable outputs.
  • Maintain delivery control


Operational / Service Ownership

  • Ensure every initiative is fully prepared for live operations with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Oversee service onboarding, support frameworks, SLAs, runbooks, documentation, & training.
  • Guarantee a smooth transition into BAU with stable, scalable, supportable services.
  • Promote strong service ownership & operational governance.


Lead transformation across key pillars, including:

  • ITSM maturity
    • Including incident, problem, change management
  • Device & endpoint management (builds, patching, monitoring, vulnerability).
  • Automation & self-service enablement.
  • Access models, RBAC, & secure onboarding processes.
  • Global support models & supplier integrations.


Governance & Reporting

  • Establish clear, efficient delivery governance with transparent reporting.
  • Communicate RAG status, milestones, risks, decisions, & dependencies to senior stakeholders.


Stakeholder & Supplier Management

  • Act as the single accountable point for delivery across the Digital Workplace Services portfolio.
  • Influence & collaborate with engineering, security, support, compliance, facilities, & supplier teams.
  • Manage vendor deliverables, onboarding, integration, & operational alignment.
