DevOps Engineer with Active Security Clearance required join a high-profile digitisation programme for a Government Department. The successful candidate will focus on Azure application deployment & environment configuration, working closely with internal infrastructure DevOps teams responsible for Terraform & overall environment provisioning. The role is critical to ensuring smooth, automated deployments, environment consistency, & reliable release management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage & automate application deployments on Azure Stack using CI/CD pipelines & related tooling.
- Configure, maintain, & optimise application environments across development, testing, & production stages.
- Collaborate with infrastructure DevOps teams responsible for Terraform-based environment provisioning, providing technical feedback & requirements as needed.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues & work with development teams to resolve environment-related problems.
- Ensure security, scalability, & compliance of application configurations in the cloud environment.
- Document deployment processes & environment setup guides for internal reference & onboarding.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role, with hands-on work in Azure Stack environments.
- Strong knowledge of application deployment, environment configuration, & release management.
- Experience working alongside infrastructure teams using Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines & automation tooling.
- Active SC clearance is mandatory.
