Application Support Lead

Location: London - Hybrid
Rate: £600 - £700 p/d Inside IR35
We're supporting a Specialty Insurer in the London market who are looking for a Application Support Lead to take ownership across a number of core insurance platforms, with a particular focus on Sequel Eclipse.
This is a technical role sitting between the business & third-party vendors, requiring strong technical capability alongside service ownership. You'll play a key role in triaging incidents, managing vendor performance, & ensuring stability across the application landscape. Experience supporting Sequel Eclipse is preferred, although candidates with strong Guidewire experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own service delivery across core insurance applications, with a primary focus on Sequel Eclipse
- Act as the main point of contact for incident triage, working closely with vendors to drive resolution
- Investigate issues across the integration layer, identifying root causes & coordinating fixes
- Provide hands-on support where required, particularly for complex or high-priority incidents
- Support wider Claims & PAS applications, ensuring consistent service performance
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience supporting Sequel Eclipse within a London Market / Specialty Insurance environment
- Strong technical capability, particularly in SQL for investigation & issue analysis
- Experience working across integration layers & triaging system-related incidents
- Background in application support / service delivery within insurance platforms (Claims / PAS)
- Comfortable working with third-party vendors & managing issue resolution end-to-end
