Our client, a leading international Specialty Insurer managing over 1.5 billion of premiums, combines over 135 years of expertise to deliver tailored risk management, insurance, and investment solutions worldwide.

With culture, values and governance at the heart of their operations, they sought a permanent BI Developer to take full ownership of all reporting to the wider group - someone experienced, yet mouldable who’d thrive in collaborating across teams to enhance the BI offering.


The Challenge

After several months of utilising their own internal talent acquisition capabilities, the client’s initial hire proved unsuccessful due to a misalignment with the company culture, leaving a crucial gap in their reporting solutions. This departure increased the urgency to fill the role, as the business lacked a dedicated owner for their BI function.

At this point, Pioneer were engaged in order to overcome the client’s main challenge - finding a candidate with the right technical expertise, experience and cultural fit.
