Technical Security Advisor is sought by a leading Telecommunications company to lead & drive the Cyber Security culture across various Telco clients based on the Government's new Security Framework. You will be an SME within Security & have a strong background understanding Network Architecture, as well has having extensive 5G & Open RAN experience. The role will focus on core governance & compliance.
This is an excellent opportunity working with an industry leader & the opportunity to grow & develop your career in Cyber Security further. The role will require deep knowledge of the Telco domain with the successful candidate comfortable working across various levels of seniority. This role will require deep knowledge of the telecommunications industry & best practice.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside wider Network & Security teams to assess how well Telecoms providers respond to security incidents
- Ensure sufficient information is detailed & robust risk assessments delivered
- Support & management of new legislation
- Work with compliance monitoring team offering expertise & advice as needed
- Work with investigation teams & provide technical support
- Policy implementation - work with Government agencies & wider industry stakeholders to make sure policies are aligned
Requirements:
- Mobile 5G Signalling
- Open RAN
- Telecommunication - Industry experience
- Strong infrastructure experience
- Previous Technical experience within Security - DNS, Internet exchange
- Network Security, Cyber Resilience
- NIST, NCSC Frameworks
- DNS Providers
- CISSP, CISM
- VoIP
