The Company

Pioneer Search are currently seeking an experienced Automotive Technical Manager to join an expanding US based team based in the Detroit area. Our client is working with leading automotive manufactures delivering innovative vehicle engineering solutions.

The company in question is one of fastest growing, global providers of engineering, R&D and next generation engineering solutions to the automotive industry. Pioneer Search's client is a multibillion dollar established brand working alongside OEM's and Tier 1 Suppliers, having multiple offices spread across the world.

The Role

As a Technical Manager some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Hands on technical lead involved with system level architecture, management, and requirements engineering.
  • Provide training materials for engineers and coach junior members, V model teaching.
  • Technical development and gathering inhouse knowledge to distribute amongst your colleagues.

The Individual

To be considered for the role of Technical Manager a candidate should exhibit the following qualifications:

  • 5 years in Architectural and Requirements Engineering ideally with UML/SysMl
  • Knowledge on ASPICE, AUTOSAR, DOORS creating system specifications.
  • Fluent English must be willing to travel
