Solution Architect - Lloyds Insurer - Permanent

Solution Architect is sought for a leading Insurance business within the Lloyds of London market.

My client are continuing their successful Technology Transformation journey and require a Solution Architect who can act as SME and support Projects across the business and deliver suitable Architecture in-line with business strategy. You will be comfortable working across different Business units with great experience managing senior level stakeholders and communication with teams in various geographic locations.

*location - My client are working to a Hybrid model - 3 days in office, 2 Remote.

Role:

• Define and lead varied systems development and act as an SME - Solutions Architecture
• senior member of team, providing technical expertise and thought leadership around solutions,
• Work closely with technical teams including Head of Engineering
• Be heavily involved in programme increments, ensuring strategy and approach aligns with business goals
• Face off to multiple business units at all levels
• Provide consistent feedback and recommendations on technology performance and evaluations

Essential Experience:

• The successful candidate will come from a core Application Development background and have proven hands-on experience.
• Lloyds of London Insurance - must have previous experience within the market
• Proven Solutions Architect experience within specialist insurance / reinsurance
• Experience in full Microsoft technology environment including C#.Net, SQL Server, Big Data and Azure cloud
• Solid understanding of API design including RESTful
• Deep knowledge of full Systems Development life cycle, Agile, Scrum
