Electronics Engineer for Inertial Sensors (IMU) such as accelerometers or gyroscopes

Electronics Engineer for Inertial Sensors technology is required for a world leading organisation developing cutting edge consumer technology that you use every day.

This company is not only a world leader but they are a trend setter developing technology for smartphones, smart glasses and wearables, right now due to their success they are rapidly growing to meet the demand from the wider consumer market. It is likely that you are using technology developed by this team now.

You will be developing MEMS sensors for IMUs such as accelerometers and gyroscopes which can control and track the movement of smart devices, these are often used for the fitness applications however further applications of this technology are endless and you will find yourself working in an everchanging technical direction building technology before it becomes mainstream therefore you should have an eye for R&D.

You do not need to be experienced in developing MEMS sensors however you will need to have experience in design and development of inertial sensors and the sensor functions which can include MEMS but also within ASICS, ICs, Characterisation, Measurement or software development.

Skills:

  • Electronics Experience working with Inertial sensors (IMUs) such as Accelerometers or Gyroscopes
  • Reputable degree in Electrical Engineering
  • English language

That is all

Candidates should come with some work experience however PhD candidates with a good theoretical knowledge within Accelerometers, Gyroscopes and IMUs will be considered and should apply.

Above all we arelooking for candidates who are dynamic, interested, enthusiastic and want to work in a environment that creates new technology.

Visas and relocation assistance will be provided for any candidate living outside of Germany and English is the primary language
