Senior Information Security Officer- Banking - London Permanent

Senior Information Security Officer is urgently needed by a global Banking brand who are driving transformation and improvements to their UK/European function. You will have strong experience in Security with a good balance of Technology and Business knowledge from a core Financial Services background. The role will sit within the UK region with reporting lines at the executive level.

This is a fantastic role to get involved with a large-scale technology journey with a global banking leader. You will be integral in structure and delivery of Security for the next 3-5 years and ensure the bank are in-line with their objectives.

*Please note, this role will require attendance to the office - my client is working on a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

Role:

Consistent InfoSec Architecture are defined and effectively communicated to key business and technology stakeholders

Security Control - process improvements

Advancement of the bank's network security - reliability, access security and application control operations

Work with Global teams - Security Operations Services, Advisory, and Enterprise Security Services

Governance in place within local operations and business environments

Core Relationship building across various Business units and Geographic locations

Responsibilities:

• Gap Analysis: Identity Gaps and ability to understand and re-mediate
• Incident Resolution: ability to handle incidents and resolve from Infosec perspective
• Stakeholder Management: Must be able to build strong, long-lasting relationships across the business and IT
• Security Risk: able to identify Security Risks for all Projects
• Regular presentation to Board Level
• Work with Technical Teams and transfer knowledge on Security importance

Experience/Skills:

• A wide ranging Technical background
• strong systems, electronic data processing, internal control/ audit knowledge and expertise
• Demonstrate previous experience in managing and setting Security Strategy
• Must be comfortable in a "Stand-alone" position
• Demonstrate ability to communicate with Executive Leadership Team
• Knowledge of Governance and Assurance
• Resolution of Audit and regulatory issues
