Pioneer Search has been engaged to recruit an exciting PMO opportunity in Belfast for a global financial services firm. This role will involve working closely with the Project Managers to support the successful delivery of a suite of projects across the organisation.

As a PMO Analyst you will:

  • Help devise the overall approach to delivering individual projects, making use of the internal methodology tailoring matrix
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to devise, produce, validate and achieve sign-off of high-quality project documentation
  • Provide input to project documentation such as Product Descriptions, Work Package Descriptions, Work Plans, Test Scripts and Stage Gate Readiness Assessment Documents
  • Ensure project delivery by providing analysis that feeds into and informs the capture of project risks and issues, and presenting informed inputs to support mitigation plans
  • Provide regular progress updates to the project team and other stakeholders
  • Communicate personal task progress and completion on relevant Project Management software
  • Manage workshops and meetings as required to support project delivery

The successful appointee will have:

  • A background in Financial Services working in a PMO capacity
  • Exceptional organisational, prioritisation and interpersonal skills
  • A good degree of literacy in applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • The ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders including subject matter experts, peers, managers, customers and suppliers
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify challenges and help formulate analytical solutions
