Process Engineer - Microfabrication, Cleanrooms for MEMS or Semiconductors, Wafer Processing, Materials

An experiences Process Engineer or Microfab Technician is required for a R&D cleanroom position within a highly respected technology business.

This company are a hub of British innovation in the region developing who can be working up to 8 projects at a time developing technology for anything from Medical Technology for COVID19 related devices to technologies for defence or consumer electronics.

This role would ideally be suited to a candidate who enjoys tinkering in a Cleanroom and is happy to work in a highly collaborative environment with no top down structure.

Your technical experience should match this with broad experience in several topics associated with Microfabrication practices and Processing on glass and silicon substrates.

This opportunity is perfect for a Process Engineer or Microfabrication Technician who would like to work on something different in the cleanroom every day, loves variety and working unsupervised, would like to work in a small but passionate team and be part of something growing.

Skills:

  • Process Engineer or Microfabrication Technician within a Cleanroom environment
  • Experienced in cleanroom practices in an industrial environment
  • Photolithography and materials
  • Broad backgrounds with 2 - 3+ years post university experience
