IT Service Delivery Manager - Lloyd's Market Insurance

We are looking for an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager / IT Business Support Manager for a Lloyd's Market Insurance organisation. This company are in the midst of an exciting IT transformation project, with new systems being developed, integrated and implemented. They have doubled in size in the past 2 years and encourage a highly collaborative and welcoming workplace.

Your experience as a Service Delivery Manager will see you as point of escalation and key advisor in IT Business Support strategy, influencing IT standards and governance. With a recent roll out of Service Now ITSM, a main responsibility from your first day will be to ensure its successful use and implementation, ensuring its use as a valuable asset to the ITSM environment.

The Role

  • Be the point of escalation for senior internal stakeholders
  • Team management including coaching of more junior members
  • Define and improve the IT support strategy
  • Reporting on performance of IT service delivery
  • Ensure the ServiceNow ITSM tool is meeting the aims of the IT Department
  • Ensure all IT policies and procedures are being followed
  • Be a key influence on IT governance and standards

Required Experience

  • Service Desk management experience
  • Excellent all-round IT Service Delivery knowledge and expertise
  • ITIL qualification or comparable professional experience
  • Financial Services experience (ideally insurance)
  • Experience implementing ITSM (ideally ServiceNow)
  • Ability to consult and instruct senior internal stakeholders
