Head of IT
A leading Central London Professional Services client of Pioneer Search is looking to recruit a Head of IT to work with the board to take responsibility for all areas of IT Strategy, IT Delivery and head up the IT function on a permanent basis.
Main Responsibilities
The role includes but is not restricted to, the following duties:
- Responsible for all IT operations
- Ensure excellence in IT Security & Cyber Security
- Development of internal technology communications channels
- Management of the relationship with key vendors
- Development of the IT strategic road map
- Review of the existing DR / BCP plans
- Lead planning for IT elements of office expansion / relocation project
- Day to day leadership management and upskilling of existing IT team
- Establish IT policies to support the organisation's strategy and business requirements
Core Requirements and Experience
- Experience working in Professional Services
- Technical knowledge and hands on experience with MS Azure, Office 365, Active Directory
- A proven track record in IT management with appropriate IT and professional qualifications
- Experience in the RFP/RFI tender process for systems upgrades & changes
- Proven experience of delivery of successful IT systems and technology projects including the preparation of business cases
- Knowledge of change management processes
- Analyse the business requirements of all departments to determine their IT needs
- Must have a proactive and "can do" attitude, used to and happy to provide IT support to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation
- Strong organisational skills and methodical work processes
- Ability to communicate effectively and in writing to all levels within the organisation and presenting business cases to members at board level
The successful candidate will have
- A strong track record heading up an IT Function within a professional services environment OR a proven record working at an "IT Manager" level ready to take the next step upward to 'Head Of' level
- Previously been / currently responsible for delivering IT strategy and delivery and management of a small IT team
