Our Pioneer's - Five for Five with Pratap Vara

We grabbed five minutes with Pratap to gather his thoughts and insight on his journey with Pioneer Search so far.  
 

What is your proudest moment since joining Pioneer Search?

It is hard to pinpoint this as there have been some great moments.

Personally, being promoted to Associate Director/Senior Manager instantly comes to mind but also being responsible for developing the careers of our consultants and seeing them successfully build their own desks.

What do you enjoy the most about working at Pioneer Search?

The people I work with are great, and the support we receive really stands out.

It’s an incredibly collaborative environment which isn’t true for all recruitment businesses!

It is just simply put, an adult/grown up culture that still knows how to have fun.

What are you most looking forward to in the coming year with Pioneer Search?

Very much excited to continuing building Pioneer and in particular the Cloud and Security Desks. We are working with a brilliant client base and with the new additions to my team, a great foundation to take us to the next level.

Go back to when you first joined Pioneer, what advice would you give yourself?

To take a step back now and again and assess the situation with more information at hand.

What key piece of advice would you give to a recruiter considering joining Pioneer Search?

Do it – you will get to work with me!
